Hey everyone!
Making models and working with my hands has always been my favorite thing to do, and to capitalize on that, I'm starting my own model making company! I need a CNC router if I'm going to get anywhere with this idea, so I've launched a Kickstarter. The slant I've chosen for it is dollhouse furniture, but that's not the only place I'm going to work in. I'm planning on doing other doll scales, model railroading (tell me you saw that coming!) and also custom work for architects and interior designers client model buildings.
You can show your support by pledging $1 toward my campaign. Believe me, I know that every small donation really adds up! www.smallhousemodels.com/kickstarter
Thanks!

City Bopper Transit Stroller
It's been nearly forever since I posted an update to my blog, and I have for the most part abandoned it, but in case anyone is still reading it, here is an update on my senior capstone transit stroller. About a year ago Irena and I picked it up, dusted it off, and added a bunch of spit and polish to it and submitted it to the IDSA IDEA awards, and we didn't get far at all. Strollers are a weird category and the one we picked pitted us up against motorcycles and sexy fast cars. It was a hard sell.
Today, I have submitted it yet again to Cincinnati Innovates, and we need all the votes we can get. Check it out!
